This extension is actually provided through [[https://www.itophub.io/|iTop Hub]], the platform that provides you with all the required resources to optimize your iTop. ===== Features ===== * Automated inventory of Servers (with their Brand, Model), Hypervisors (with their OS Family and OS Version), Farms, Virtual Machines (with their OS Family and OS Version), Datastores. * Optional inventory of IPv4, IPv6 addresses and logical interfaces * The collector can reside on any system with web access to both vSphere Web Services and iTop. * Automatic creation and update of the Synchronization Data Sources in iTop. ===== Limitations ===== The vSphere collector is currently relying on the a slightly adapted version of the PHP Vmwarephp library. It supports vSphere API from version 4.1 to 7.0 but it is NOT compatible with version 8.0. The current version of the collector is designed to collect information from a single vSphere server. To collect and reconcile information from several vSphere servers into one iTop, check the section Collecting from several vSphere servers below. ===== Full documentation ===== Comprehensive documentation on that extension is available [[https://www.itophub.io/wiki/page?id=extensions:vsphere-data-collector|here]], on iTop Hub.
